We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Digital Marketing Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • The Chief Marketing Officer will be primarily responsible for driving revenue and growth for the company. He/she will also be responsible for promoting our brand equity by reinforcing the value proposition via all available marketing channels.
  • The ideal candidate must be analytically driven, and exceptionally creative and innovative in driving profitable growth.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
General:

  • Create and own the GTM strategy for new and existing products and features.
  • Responsible for leading the entire Marketing and Sales team, developing and leading the strategic plan and vision for digital and offline products.
  • Lead strategic marketing initiatives to establish and strengthen the organization position within the Fintech and consumer lending market in order to acquire prospective customers and engage the existing customer base.
  • Work closely with the Innovation and Project Team to develop an in-depth understanding of designed products, needs and obstructions.
  • Provide strategic direction on marketing based on customer insights, competition trends and business analytics, optimize the marketing budget to build strong brand awareness and preference to drive revenue and profit for the organization.
  • Forecast, evaluate, measure and report on marketing effectiveness and ROI
  • Develop new marketing programs/products in order to drive higher revenue and customer/product profitability.
  • Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing and Sales team.
  • Achieve marketing performance targets. This includes budget allocation and monitoring to maximize return on investment per customer.
  • Crafting strategies for all Marketing teams, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative.
  • Ensure the brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material).
  • Develop metrics and post implementation reviews for each campaign and work through with stakeholders to continuously improve on the quality of each campaign and inform future strategies.
  • Engaging business intelligence, monitoring competition and market trends to drive in-house innovation.
  • Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence
  • Monitor SEO/SEM, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends
  • Build strong clients relationships through social media interaction
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency
  • Establish best practices in digital marketing
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technologies developments
  • Demonstrable experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software
  • Experience implementing and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Hands on experience with online marketing tools and practices

Job Requirements & Person Specifications
Education:

  • First degree in any discipline from a reputable institution.
  • A post graduate degree will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years leadership sales/marketing experience in a Fintech or a Consumer Lending Organisation with a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
  • Deep familiarity with brand strategy, creative development, multi-channel marketing execution, social platforms and competitive analysis.
  • Proven experience with analytical and data driven KPI’s.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to flex between strategic leadership and execution.
