The Role

  • Our client is seeking “mission-oriented” talents that would understand the stakes and contribute to the company’s agile strategy.
  • They are looking for a CTO who will be responsible for driving and facilitating organizational change that will help the company identify the new sources of profits, grow profits of the existing business units and enter previously unexplored markets and product segments.
  • They will act as role models for the sort of behavior needed to encourage and embed change.
  • Essentially, the candidate will be responsible for transformation, ensuring change themselves by supercharging innovation, accelerating growth, or radically simplifying operations to enable continuous and effective change.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for devising strategies and investment plans and prevailing conditions with our client’s portfolio and how they can succeed within the retail industry.
  • As the chief transformation officer who will be instrumental to driving fundamental transformational change, they will make sure line managers themselves take responsibility for change and personally ensure they deliver results quickly and with suitably high ambition.

Responsibilities

  • Take traditional organizational resources such as people, data, and infrastructure and put them together in a cross-functional way to encourage them to embrace a networked model for execution.
  • Develop mandates to commercialize new ideas, spearhead growth initiatives, and facilitate change management.
  • Incorporate agile ways of working to accelerate transformations by promoting experimentation and learning and embed it in execution and company culture.
  • Facilitate global business transformation that will encompass HR, Finances, Legal etc by identifying capability gaps
  • Optimize the business and create short-term improvements and long-term value.
  • Increase existing revenue streams and develop insights into customers’ expectations and what they will pay for.
  • Serve as a mentor and problem-solving expert to the subordinate teams.
  • Push the ideas on implementing technological innovations to facilitate the environment of productive collaboration.

Requirements
Skills & Requirements:

  • MBA or other Associated Graduate or Master’s Degree is a plus (An MBA Holder is highly desirable)
  • Our ideal candidate will be a change champion and take ownership of cross functional transformation, every decision of the CTO should be centered on the big picture and how it will affect the future of the company.
  • Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
  • Knowledge of industry trends to build strategy
  • Understanding of budgets and business-planning
  • Ability to conduct data analyses and research
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership and organizational abilities
  • Strategic thinking
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
