Job Brief

  • Our client is looking to hire a Communications Executive who will support our internal and external communications strategy, write and disseminate publicity material, respond to inquiries from the public and media, and coordinate promotional events.

Job Description

  • Develop new content and maintain company’s websites.
  • Work within the team to maintain current social media channels and advise on new areas of development.
  • Work with staff across the company to source, write, edit and proof online content maintaining a consistent editorial style.
  • Have the ability to communicate technical issues and understand, create and feedback on functional specifications.
  • Use analytics packages to identify areas of improvement across the site and social medica networks.
  • Increasing visitor numbers, site usability, conversion rates and customer loyalty.
  • Maintain all digital channels and work with third parties to fix problems.
  • To monitor the success of the website based on KPI’s and provide appropriate progress reports.
  • Must be up to speed on the latest digital developments.
  • Undertake other appropriate duties as may be requested by line manager/supervisor.
  • Responsible for helping the organization obtain better brand recognition.
  • Develop and implement/execute online marketing plans and activities.
  • Periodically review all marketing/communication assets and material offline/online to ensure communications are clear, concise and convincing.
  • Participate in all strategic business meetings and events for brand.

Performance Metrics

  • Grow followership across all the digital platforms.
  • Increase engagement across all didgital platforms.
  • Improved designs, key visuals and copies.
  • Increase websites visitation.
  • Track and convert inbound requests/sales across the digital platforms.

Requirements

  • The post holder must have 1 – 3 years experience working in a similar role with experience in healthcare an advantage.
  • He/She will develop content and have the ability to understand and communicate technical issues.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Ability to implement creative ideas from conception through to deployment.
  • Understanding of adaptive and responsive design.
  • Keep up to speed on the latest digital development.
  • Experience in managing social media networks for organisations.
  • Experience working with third parties.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with people from different backgrounds
  • Strong writing, editing experience, able to identify stories and write for the web.
  • Experience in creating digital graphics.
  • Keeping to deadlines, able to plan ahead.
