Job Title: Company Driver

Location: Surulere Office, Lagos

Job Description

We are currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Company Driver in our Surulere Office.

Responsibilities

Safely and timely drive the employees to and from marketing and other required occasions
Timely delivery of goods to our customers when assigned
Cross-check items loaded on truck against delivery waybill
Brilliantly answer client’s inquiries or refer such inquiries to the appropriate office.
Ensure vehicle is clean at all time by washing both inside and the outside
Carry out routine checks on vehicles and ensure that vehicles are kept perfect and clean at all times
Timely report all vehicle faults to the Office Manager
Ensures the vehicle papers are up to date and well maintained
Perform periodic basic maintenance on the vehicle
Keep up a travel log to record areas traveled to, travel time, and work hours
Must be able to consider different routes to decide the best time and route to take
Must be able and willing to load/offload products from the truck
Dress professionally and in accordance with the company’s dress code.

Requirements

Minimum of SSCE/OND certificate
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a driving test and background check
Must possess a positive and professional attitude
Must be able to speak and write English. Ability to speak Yoruba and/or Igbo is an advantage
Experience and good knowledge of Lagos Roads and sufficient knowledge of traffic laws
Must be a safety-conscious person, focused, confident and observant.
Must reside around Surulere axis
Ability to drive a forklift is an advantage
Must be available to resume work immediately.
