We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Country Sales Manager

Location: Abuja

Summary

  • We are currently looking for a dynamic Country Sales Manager who can help us meet our growth targets for the Nigerian market for 2019 and beyond. This position will be based in Abuja, to service Northern Nigeria, operating from your own home office.

About the job

  • The successful candidate will be a business graduate with a passion for sales and have extensive experience working with government departments, both in opening new accounts and building stronger relationships with existing accounts. 

Key Performance Areas
Make valuable contact with Customer:

  • Engage and work with 10 targeted Strategic and Key accounts;
  • Win large deals, within government sector across various industries.

Learn so you can add value to Customer:

  • Rapidly build your product knowledge through online learning;
  • Develop your and customers understanding of key Autodesk and Topcon products.

Make valuable contact with Reseller:

  • Manage channel pipeline and assist channel partners to penetrate infrastructure, power works, housing and public works government departments.
  • Engage with channel partners to ensure they submit their pipelines and provide sales coaching where required.

Forecast and Report:

  • Daily maintenance of salesforce.com in order to ensure your pipeline and forecast is accurate at all times;
  • Attend and report in weekly sales meetings.

Sell Services:

  • Sell training and implementation to customers for both Autodesk and Topcon products and solutions.

About the person
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • An Engineering qualification in one of the following sectors, Civil infrastructure Engineering, Water or roads, bridges and tunnels.
  • A minimum of 5 years sales experience in the Government / public sector;
  • At least 5 years, technology or solution sales experience;
  • Strong business and financial acumen;
  • A proficient user of Salesforce.com CRM

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to build relationships and generate upsell and cross sell opportunities within the customer;
  • Ability to uncover needs and present business solutions to senior management team;
  • Ability to track sales and ensure the opportunity moves through the sales stages resulting a closed sales
  • Ability to conduct research on customers and maintain record accuracy in the company CRM tool – Salesforce.com;
  • Demonstrate an ability to close deals and achieve targets;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English as well as the local dialect of Abuja, specifically speak Hausa.
