ScaleLab is acting as an intermediately in the job search for another US based corporation, an online retailer with double digit yearly growth numbers (current at $6 million / year revenue). 50 + staff members and roughly 10 outside contractors on the team. In the process of doubling retail output, with new facilities in US. An established U.S. based company looking to switch all of our e-commerce operations to in-house development. Our core business is online retail in the US automotive space.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Customer Support Specialist

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • A leading US based online retailer of spare parts is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to assist our customers in pre-sale and post sale periods while using our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
  • Identify customer needs and help customers in pre-sale and post-sale periods
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved
  • Update our internal databases with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customers.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year work experience.
  • Excellent English both verbal and writing is a requirement
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role
  • Patience when handling tough cases
  • Familiarity with our industry is a plus
