Donovan scores twice, Badgers beat Notre Dame 5-3
Ryder Donovan had quite the game for Wisconsin, scoring goals in the second and third periods to power the Badgers to a 5-3 win over Notre Dame.
The win gave Wisconsin a sweep of the Fighting Irish after the Badgers won 2-0 on Friday night.

Wisconsin (2-0) took an early lead with 3:04 left in the first period with a power-play goal from Ty Pelton-Byce.
Donovan was up next for Wisconsin, scoring his first goal of the season with 16:06 left in the second period. After Notre Dame added two goals, Brock Caufield gave the Badgers a 3-2 lead by scoring on a breakaway with 39.4 seconds left until the second intermission.

The Irish knotted it up again in the third period, but the stalemate would not last for long.
Dylan Holloway put Wisconsin back on top with a goal at 9:27 remaining and Donovan put it between the pipes for the second time with 7:45 to go in the game.
The Badgers will be back in action on Thursday when they host the Michigan Wolverines for a two-game series.
