Dyson returns, helps Twins recapture division lead
Things weren’t looking great for the Twins when Dyson, one half of the bullpen reinforcements they brought in at the deadline, went down with biceps tendinitis after just two games. Those games were … not great. His Twins ERA was, at one point, hovering in the low 80s. He returned Tuesday after missing nine games and bounced back immediately, retiring three batters on nine pitches in the eighth to help the Twins recapture their division lead with a 7-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. That sounds a lot more like the Dyson who had a 0.902 WHIP in 51 innings for the San Francisco Giants before the deadline.
