We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Benin City, Edo

Responsibilities

Maintains honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and high levels of efficiency and accuracy at all times
Operates cash register accurately and scans all product
Receives cash, checks, EFT transactions, in-store charges and figures discounts, as well as, counts back change, issues receipts
Places merchandise in cart in a neat, organized fashion. Assists courtesy personnel as needed
Answers customer questions and concerns and follows-up with appropriate personnel
Required to know value, look-up numbers, department numbers, and features of items for which money is received
Resolve customer complaints and rectify price discrepancies
Able to do basic math, and handle and count cash
Be able to accommodate various shits on short notice
Able to handle difficult customers
Undertake other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

A minimum of OND in Accounting or Business Administration
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Knowledge of office procedures
Minimum of 1 year experience an advantage
