Job Title: Event Manager

Location: Rivers
Start date: 1st July, 2019

Summary of the Role

This position oversees and organizes events that will make an impact to internal and external clients.
You will ensure events are successful and cost-effective, pay attention to budget and time constraints.
An event manager is, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques.
We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

Requirements

Minimum of B.Sc/BA in Public Relations, Hospitality Management, Marketing or equivalent. A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Real Estate/Construction and Oil&Gas Industry
Good knowledge of Managing and Planning series of High Profile Events
Skilled in project management
Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding communication and Negotiation ability
Excellent organizational skills, A knack for problem-solving
Customer-service orientation, A team player with strong leadership skills
Good interpersonal relationship management.
