Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Maintain a Status Report for all pending transactions in the Group and update same on a weekly basis with clear information on each transaction. Keep the Group Executive Chairman abreast of such and inform him of any delays or major issues on a daily basis.
  • On a daily basis, provide support and assistance to the Group Executive Chairman in managing requests and issues related to the Group. This includes providing updates and reminders to him on pending deadlines and key calendar dates.
  • Prepare written reports, position papers, and executive summaries. Ensure communication is free from error and is written in professional style as per the direction of the Group Executive Chairman.
  • Prepare agenda, takes notes, and prepares minutes for staff meetings lead by Group Executive Chairman. Ensure minutes are prepared and distributed within 24 hours of the meeting and are distributed to the Group Executive Chairman and other attendees.
  • Draft correspondence on behalf of the Group Executive Chairman. Ensure correspondence are written in a professional manner, free from error and is consistent in style with other executive communication
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with the Executives, staff and clients of the Group while communicating with them on behalf of the Group Executive Chairman
  • Serve as a positive representative of AT&A GROUP to all clients and co-workers.
  • Always work proactively to ensure the image of the Group is one that advocates and provides quality service.

Business Support:

  • Introduce new businesses to the Group that will be revenue generating i.e. One Million Naira every quarter.
  • Follow up and work with the Team Leads of Business Units to ensure transactions are closed successfully and our customers are satisfied.
  • Maintain effective knowledge of all relevant resources and services available within the Group.
  • Understand the power of teamwork and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in collaborating with coworkers to provide service.

Support Responsibilities:

  • Support Corporate Services:
    • With the day-to-day running of the organization; i.e oversee operations, schedules and personnel on a day-to-day basis; ensure that staff have needed equipment, tools and resources required for their roles
    • With the proper implementation of organization policies through enforcement of rules and regulations on timekeeping, security, access and even meeting of deadlines.
    • In the development, writing, implementation, and management of policies, processes, and programs in the Group.
    • To ensure free flow of communication and efficient use of resources throughout the organization.
