We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Senior Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Details

Designing of all ELV systems where responsible.
To liase with other discipline to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems with other services and elements.
To specify system components as may be required for each project.
To interpret design and specifications provided by consultant.
To be cost conscious during design and specification of systems and components.
To produce material takeoff for costing
To conduct thorough technical assessment and analysis of systems, equipment, components, vendors and subcontractors.
Provide clarity for subcontractors and technicians to effectively carryout installation works
To assist maintenance and repairs division with troubleshooting of all ELV systems.
Frequent visits to multiple sites to ensure subcontractors and technicians are adhering to design instructions.
Partake in design and project review meetings

Key Performance metrics will be the following:

Timely delivery of designs
Cost effectiveness of equipment and component selection.
Effectiveness of the outcome of troubleshooting of ELV systems for maintenance division.
Efficiency of installation works based on instructions provided.
Accuracy of material take off. Ensuring all equipment, materials and components are captured to minimize variation or losses in contract

The Candidate
Qualifications and Experience:

B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical Electronics Engineering
7 years experience in Extra Low Voltage Systems
NSE & COREN registered will be an added advantage

Skills and Requirements:

Fire alarm systems
Closed circuit television system (CCTV])
Cable television (CATV)
Audio visual system (AV)
Structured cabling systems
Nurse call systems.
Access control systems
Video door entry systems
Security & burglar alarm systems
Expert knowledge of applicable codes and regulations pertaining to ELV systems
Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines
Responsive to changing demands
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goals
Ability to evaluate new approaches, systems and design solutions
Ability to us Microsoft office software Word, Excel, PowerPoint are essential.
AutoCAD (Revit is a bonus)
