Job Summary

• We are looking for a food business facility maintenance expert with in-depth knowledge & experience managing restaurant general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other facility systems.

About this Role

• Facility maintenance technicians are responsible for keeping the buildings and grounds of the organization clean, safe, and functional.
• They commonly work with a team of other technicians and support staff to ensure that all areas of the building are properly maintained.
• They also commonly perform more specialized duties such as installing new equipment or fixtures, repairing broken equipment, and even handling emergency situations such as water leaks or fires.

Detailed Information:

• Supervising cleaning and maintaining common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and reception areas.
• On the other hand, May inspect a building’s plumbing, electrical and ventilation systems and conduct maintenance and repair work wherever necessary.
• Should also have good analytical skills to assess various properties and equipment and detect potential safety hazards.
• Conducting inspections to ensure that standards are met by contractors or subcontractors
• Will have a duty to keep records of equipment manuals and user guides, as well as maintenance practices and repair work done on all facilities and equipment.
• Performing basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, or repairing small leaks in drains or toilets.
• Experienced with fridge / freezer repairs (advantage).

Salary
