We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of property’s facilities and utilities
  • Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments
  • Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Ensuring the building is maintained, improved, and managed, and that vendor partnerships are managed.
  • Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
  • Maintain ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and team
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies according to HSE standards.
  • Manage budget plans for maintenance, perform analysis and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience
  • 10 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions
  • Knowledge of occupational safety and health standards and other environmental regulations
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
  • Project Management, excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Package i.e. Excel & MS- Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical/critical thinking.
