Job Title: Female Cashier

Job Brief

• We are looking for a cashier to act as one of the front office team for customers who visit our salon or contact us to learn about our beauty services.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers
• Scan goods and collect payments
• Ensure pricing is correct
• Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Greet customers when entering or leaving establishment
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Keep reports of transactions
• Process returns in case of reversal of online transaction
• Answer customers’ questions and get a manager if answer doesn’t solve the issue
• Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification with 1 year work experience.
• Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role
• Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems
• Familiarity with processing transactions
• Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude
• Solid organization and record-keeping skills.

Salary
N50,000 – N70,000 monthly.
