Fifth season of ‘Marlins Clubhouse’ premieres April 26 on FOX Sports Florida
MIAMI (April 24, 2019) – FOX Sports Florida, the exclusive television home of the Miami Marlins, will premiere an all-new episode of “Marlins Clubhouse” on Friday, April 26 at 6 p.m. “Marlins Clubhouse” is a magazine-style show highlighting the lighter side of Marlins baseball with FOX Sports Florida reporter Kelly Saco. Friday’s premiere episode features Saco and Marlins pitcher Pablo López co-hosting from Doggi’s Arepa Bar in Miami. Kelly and Pablo talk baseball before the two go head-to-head in a battle to see who can make the better arepa. The special guest judge for this contest is Marlins infielder Miguel Rojas, a native of Venezuela who knows a thing or two about arepas.
Below is a rundown of Friday’s new episode:
— Pro Tips: FOX Sports Florida analyst and 15-year MLB veteran Jeff Nelson gives viewers some great advice on pitching mechanics.
— Clubhouse Kids: New Clubhouse kid reporter Bridget spends time in The Club: DEX Imaging with Levy’s Executive Chef at Marlins Park Michael Finizia. Chef Michael shows Bridget how to make one of the newest sweet treats available at the park, the “Bubble Waffle Cracker Jack Sundae.”
— Q & A: Kelly and Pablo sit down for a fast-paced question and answer session where we learn more about his life away from baseball. Miguel also gets in a few laughs with the co-hosts during a rapid fire five-second challenge segment.
