A Reputable Company is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Immediate Hire: To be seated on or before December 1 2022.

Responsibilities

Manage the accounting operations including the review of journal entries, accounts payable, and statutory reporting
Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures
Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and external reporting to financial institutions, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met
Assigns and authorizes cheques, purchase orders, and invoices
With input from the CFO, responsible for the formulation of accounting policies, procedures and controls
Work with external tax consultants in the preparation of corporate Tax filings.

Requirements of the Position

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification
Chartered Accountant
5+ years of accounting experience
Ability to learn new business management software
Highly organized, sets priorities, meets deadlines
Strong aptitude for numbers, attention to detail, and accuracy
Communicates effectively with various stakeholders
Able to deal with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
Based in Lagos
High Emotional Intelligence.
