Job Title: Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supervisor

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Description

  • Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
  • Daily supervision of restaurant and it’s related operations and menu planning.
  • Maintainingsanitation standards and striving to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction.
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
  • Communicate with guests to receive feedback on product quality and service levels and manage complaints.
  • Monitor employees to ensure performance expectations are met and encouraging themto provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
  • Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.
  • Ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
  • Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
  • Participate in department meetings by communicating a clear and consistent message regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results.

Job Requirements

  • A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member management.
  • Excellent Management skill.
  • Ability to Recognize good quality products and presentations.
  • Extensive Restaurant, Bar and Kitchenknowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software.
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
  • Acute financial management skills.
  • Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards.
  • Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities.
