FOX Sports Detroit announces 2019 Tigers TV schedule

FOX Sports Detroit will televise 160 regular-season Detroit Tigers games in 2019. Fans will also be able to stream any Tigers game that airs on FOX Sports Detroit on FOX Sports GO.

The regional network’s coverage of the Tigers leads off with 10 spring training games, followed by the March 28 season opener in Toronto against the Blue Jays. We have expanded coverage of the home opener against the Kansas City Royals, starting at 11 a.m. with a two-hour pregame show.

Tigers telecasts will feature play-by-play announcer Matt Shepard alongside Hall of Famer Jack Morris and Kirk Gibson as analysts. Dan Petry and Craig Monroe will serve as analysts on Tigers Live pre- and postgame shows.

Detroit Tigers fans continue to receive quality and comprehensive coverage from FOX Sports Detroit, which has earned 145 Michigan Emmys since 2000, including 24 for Tigers programming. The network’s extensive baseball lineup in 2019 includes Tigers Live, which will air before and after every telecast.

The premiere of Inside the Tigers will air on April 12 at 6:30 p.m.

“We are counting down the days until the 2019 season,” said Greg Hammaren, senior vice president and general manager of FOX Sports Detroit. “Everyone at FOX Sports Detroit looks forward to the privilege of delivering daily episodes of Tigers baseball – and continuing to bring another level of expertise and excitement for what is the most captivating reality show on television.”
