FOX Sports Ohio To Air Blue Jackets–Lightning Eastern Conference Quarterfinal Series
COLUMBUS, OHIO – FOX Sports Ohio will air the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series between the Columbus Blue Jackets and second-seeded Tampa Bay Lightning.
Live coverage of games carried by FOX Sports Ohio begins with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting 30 minutes prior to game time. All games televised on FOX Sports Ohio will also be streamed live via FOX Sports GO.
Play-by-play announcer Jeff Rimer and color analyst Jody Shelley will call all the action with Dave Maetzold reporting. Blue Jackets Live, hosted by Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre and Brian Giesenschlag, will provide fans with commentary, features, highlights, player interviews and analysis thirty minutes before and immediately following every qualifying game.
The series marks the Blue Jackets’ fourth consecutive appearance in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and second-straight year that the club will face the Lightning. Columbus swept Tampa Bay in four games in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs, becoming the fourth team in NHL history, and first in the first round, to sweep the #1 seed in a playoff series.
