FOX Sports Ohio’s 2020 Blue Jackets Broadcast Schedule

COLUMBUS, OH – FOX Sports Ohio will carry live the Blue Jackets exhibition game on Thursday, July 30th vs. the Boston Bruins as well as the best-of-five Stanley Cup Qualifying Series vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs beginning Sunday, August 2nd. Play-by-play announcer Jeff Rimer and color analyst Jody Shelley will call all the action with Dave Maetzold reporting.

Blue Jackets Live, hosted by Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre and Brian Giesenschlag, will provide fans with commentary, features, highlights, player interviews and analysis thirty minutes before and immediately following every qualifying game.

BROADCAST AND PRODUCTION ADJUSTMENTS

All Blue Jackets games will be played in Toronto and be produced by the FOX Sports Ohio / Blue Jacket production crew based in Columbus’ Nationwide Arena. Game coverage will be shot by the NHL and will be provided to serve as the standard game view for both the Blue Jackets and their opponents television rights holders.

The production crew will operate out of a television truck and additional mobile unit equipped to provide the appropriate health and safety precautions. Rimer and Shelley will call the game from Nationwide Arena, along with Dave Maetzold reporting, allowing for proper social distance.

Blue Jackets Live pre- and postgame coverage of all games will also anchor out of Nationwide Arena in compliance with necessary health and safety protocols.
