FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Southeast to televise 6 Braves spring training games in March
ATLANTA (March 2, 2021) –FOX Sports South and FOX Sports Southeast will televise six Atlanta Braves spring training games for the 2021 season. Four games will be aired with veteran play-by-play announcer Chip Caray and analyst Jeff Francoeur calling the games from Atlanta. FOX Sports Southeast will carry two additional games as bonus coverage of the Atlanta Braves.
The first game telecast will be Friday, March 12 at 1:00 p.m. ET with FOX Sports Southeast carrying the FOX Sports North production of the Braves and Minnesota Twins game. Caray and Francoeur will make their spring training debut on Friday, March 19 at 6:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South as the Braves host the Minnesota Twins at their home park in Northport, Fla.
FOX Sports South will also produce the games on March 20th, 26th and 28th with Caray and Francoeur calling the games. On Saturday, March 20, the Braves will face the Boston Red Sox at 1:00 p.m. ET in Northport. Atlanta will play at Minnesota at 6:00 p.m. ET on Friday, March 26 in Fort Myers, Fla. The final telecast from spring training will be March 28 at 1:00 p.m. ET as the Braves and Tampa Bay Rays face each other in Charlotte, Fla.
In addition to the four Braves games televised by FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Southeast will pick-up two additional games vs the Minnesota Twins on March 12 and 22nd as “bonus coverage” of the Braves in Spring Training. These bonus coverage games will be produced by FOX Sports North featuring the Minnesota Twins broadcasters, Dick Bremer and LaTroy Hawkins.
