FOX Sports Sun announces Tampa Bay Lightning TV schedule for 2020-21 season

TAMPA, Fla. (Jan. 8, 2021) – FOX Sports Sun, the television home of the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning, announced today the network will produce and televise 49 regular season Lightning games as part of the 2020-21 National Hockey League season.

FOX Sports Sun will celebrate the Lightning’s start to the season with a special one-hour pregame show beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15 when the Lightning host the Chicago Blackhawks. All broadcasts throughout the season will feature half-hour “Lightning Live” pregame shows along with extended postgame coverage from site.

New play-by-play announcer Dave Randorf will make his broadcast booth debut alongside color analyst Brian Engblom, who returns for his sixth season providing expert commentary. “Lightning Live” host Paul Kennedy will be joined once again throughout the season by Bobby “The Chief” Taylor and Dave Andreychuk as analysts during pregame, postgame and intermission. Former Lightning winger Adam Hall also returns in his role as analyst for select games. Kailey Mizelle, FOX Sports Sun’s digital reporter, will be back for her second season covering the team and providing behind-the-scenes access to the broadcast on social media.

AMALIE Arena will serve as FOX Sports Sun’s remote broadcast hub for road games with Randorf, Engblom and co. calling away games remotely throughout the season. “Lightning Live” will also originate from AMALIE Arena for home and away games.

Of the Lightning’s complete 56-game schedule, FOX Sports Sun will not air seven games due to national television exclusivity.
