The program provides mentoring and learning opportunities to help you develop your skills, network with employees, and learn more about what it’s like to work in the entertainment industry. FOX Sports West is seeking a motivated, sports-minded individual to support the network’s digital production team. This internship is an exciting opportunity for a student looking to gain practical work experience in the field of sports with a focus on Angels Baseball.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative duties include supporting creation of tune-in graphics across the network’s social media platforms.
- Assisting the digital team in the creation of static images and motion graphics for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Content will focus on Angels Baseball, with a specific emphasis on stats, quotes, highlights, production elements and more.
- Shadowing staff producers, editors, ENG camera operators and more to gain a better understanding of the evolution of digital content creation.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Instagram stories and Facebook)
- Photoshop and After Effects experience strongly preferred
Guidelines for Interns:
- To participate in FOX’s Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
- Interns can work up to 200 hours per term (approx. 20 hours/week)
- Internship is paid
