FOX Sports Wisconsin announces 2020 Brewers television schedule
FOX Sports Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Brewers announced Monday a 155-game broadcast schedule for the 2020 season. FOX Sports Wisconsin will serve as the exclusive, local television home for the Brewers.
FOX Sports Wisconsin’s regular-season coverage of the Brewers 50th anniversary season begins Thursday, March 26 when Milwaukee hosts Chicago for Opening Day from Miller Park. The regional sports network’s coverage begins at noon with a special one-hour edition of “Brewers Live.” The Brewers’ first road trip will get underway on April 2 when the Brewers visit the Philadelphia Phillies.
More Brewers coverage
Highlights of the 2020 season schedule include 18 games vs. the division rival Chicago Cubs, 17 against the Cardinals and six contests vs. the National League champion Washington Nationals. The Brewers will wrap up the regular season on the road against the San Francisco Giants at the end of September.
Brian Anderson will resume his role as the primary play-by-play announcer with Matt Lepay joining analyst Bill Schroeder in the broadcast booth for select telecasts. Craig Coshun will join the booth as the play-by-play announcer for select telecasts. Sophia Minnaert will serve as the primary sideline reporter.
Craig Coshun and Dario Melendez will serve as the hosts for Brewers Live as well as analysis by Bill Schroeder and former Brewers pitcher Jerry Augustine. Brewers Live airs before and after all Brewers telecasts.
Fans can prepare for the 2020 season with “Brewers Season Preview,” which premieres March 19.
The Brewers’ May 24 game vs. the Cubs will be televised with limited commercials in honor of “Military Appreciation Day” at Miller Park. FOX Sports Wisconsin’s telecast event will showcase the military events happening in ballpark and pay tribute to the men, women and families who serve our country.
As previously announced, FOX Sports Wisconsin is also televising 14 Brewers spring training games from the Cactus League in Arizona.
