Pan African Towers Limited is a telecommunications infrastructure and wireless service facilitator. We made our debut on the African continent, starting with initial business operations in Nigeria, in 2017; we will soon have operations in Ghana, and Liberia. We now have close to a thousand towers and operate in every city in Nigeria. We have an aggressive growth plan to reach all parts of Africa and aim to deploy up to thirty-five thousand (35,000) towers, within the next five years to help bridge the broadband coverage gap in Africa.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: General Manager, Key Account
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time
Job Objective
- Oversee daily activities to drive revenue, increase adoption, and reduce customer churn.
- Ensures overall relationship management, accounts coordination, business/contract renewals as well as customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage key accounts of major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to drive customer acquisition and relationship
- Identify new areas of growth opportunities and potential solutions
- Work with the Technical team to drive stable and sustainable customer relationship
- Assisting the Chief Commercial Officer to oversee the development of practical commercial strategies
- Maintain contacts at different hierarchical levels within the customers’ organizations to identify, deliver and drive customer-focused business value propositions
- Create strategic plans to build an in-depth network within customers’ business
- Lead customers relationship management and maintain relationships with key account decision-makers
- Research business opportunities, developing growth strategies and plans
- Identify sales leads and pitch all telecommunications infrastructure services to new and existing customers
- Define and negotiate customers’ Master Lease Agreements (MLAs) as well as addendums to guarantee favourable lease rates for the company
- Prepare detailed sales and revenue forecast for every financial year
- Understand customers’ requirements and design a detailed plan to meet the requirements
- Prioritize creating new business and growth sales to meet customer needs and achieve the target
Academic Qualifications
- HND / BSc in Business Administration/Management, Marketing, Business Communications or relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of proven work experience in managing sales accounts.
- Minimum of 2 years in a senior sales role within the Telecoms Industry
Knowledge:
- Strong portfolio and experience in developing and maintaining relationships with senior contacts within the Mobile Network Operators (MNOs)
- Experience working with customers in the Telecoms Industry and turning business requirements into sales.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
- Ability to negotiate customer proposals to a satisfactory conclusion
- Well versed in understanding and negotiating customers’ contract and bringing it to a satisfactory conclusion
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Result-driven and good team player.
