Get to know the Bucks’ 2019 summer league team
Lofton played for four different schools – Illinois State, San Jacinto-Central, Texas Southern and, finally in 2017-18, New Mexico State. He averaged 20.1 points and 5.0 rebounds as a senior but went undrafted. He played for Detroit in the Summer League and signed a two-way contract with the Pistons. Lofton appeared in one game for the Pistons, playing four minutes. With the Grand Rapids Drive of the G League, Lofton averaged 13.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals.
