The San Francisco Giants defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 7-2, thanks to LaMonte Wade Jr. and Mike Yastrzemski’s three-run homers in the fifth and seventh innings respectively. It was LaMonte’s eighth and Yastrzemski’s 14th home run on the season.
