The Gophers ended the regular season with a third-place finish in the Big Ten.
On senior night, Minnesota senior Jack Ramsey found the back of the net just 42 seconds into the contest and fellow senior Darian Romanko scored his first of the season at 10:02.
Sampo Ranta added a goal at 13:07 to give Minnesota a 3-0 lead.
After McManus added to the lead 1:07 into the second, Arizona State scored a pair of goals later in the period, but Rem Pitlick’s shorthanded goal in the third put the game away.
Senior Eric Schierhorn made 19 saves in the win. Perhaps his best play of the night was in the final minute when he gathered the puck in order for senior Brock Kautz to come in for the final seconds to make his second career appearance.
