Enugu Electricity Distribution PLC (EEDC), one of the eleven (11) electricity distribution companies in the county is desirous of engaging suitably qualified and outstanding candidates into the position below:
Job Title: ICT Trainee
Location: Enugu
The Job
- Ability to describe problems with systems.
- Read, analyse and interpret procedures and instructions.
- Adhere to corporate policies and procedures regarding security and confidentiality of corporate data.
- Must be able to read, analyse and interpret procedures and instructions
- Adhere to corporate policies and procedures regarding security and confidentiality of corporate data.
Specific Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist Software team in the performance of their duties while under the guidance and direction of senior team members.
- Provide support for applications to ensure that they are available to all internal and external users.
- Support developers in documentations
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
- Diagnose and resolve minor operational issues with applications and mobile devices
- Maintain problem logs for application issues
- Follow documented procedures for monitoring and operating all applications Document and report application problems and interact with support staff to resolve problems.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree/HND in Computer Science or any related field
- 1 – 2 Years Postgraduate Cognate Experience in mobile and web application support; basic computer knowledge.
