Job Summary

The focus of this role will be to perform general oversight and ownership / responsibility of Finance, Account and Internal controls of ChamsSwitch Limited.
You will serve as a proactive business partner and finance counsel to the CEO to drive financial results, profitable growth, business initiatives and Value Chain.

Job Responsibilities

Maintain accounting records of the company in accordance with IFRS and ensuring the company’s full adoption of IFRS in it financial reporting structure
Review account reconciliations
3Prepare financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting
4Prepare periodic balance sheet analysis with supporting schedules
Inspect account books and accounting systems to keep them up to date
Engage with external auditors to clarify enquiries as regards statutory audits.
Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
General oversight over junior accounting staff by coordinating activities and setting targets and deliverables.
Prepare reports, budgets, business plans commentaries and financial statements
Financial forecasting and risk analysis
Recommend to the management financial measures that can increase profit margin at steady cost level.
Develop and manage financial systems/policies
General administration of payrolls
Control income and expenditure
Make best-practices recommendations to management
Ensure compliance with taxation legislation
Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
Secures financial information by ensuring constant data base backups
Provide strategic measures and tactical direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining transaction switching capacity & productivity, customer-service strategies, problems resolution; change implementation and many more.
