Head of Marketing
Oppein Abuja is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to fill the role of Head of Marketing.
The ideal candidate is to serve as the lead marketing executive. You will manage all marketing efforts including planning, research, advertising, communications, and public relations in line with our objectives.
Job Description
Formulating Sales strategies to
- aid brand management, evaluation, and market promotion strategies, for various existing/new products.
- Develop sales plans, strategies, and policies with a view to increasing/sustaining market share and profitability.
- Measure marketing program effectiveness and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in strategy and output
- Participate in organization-wide strategy planning and expand our thinking around the role of marketing in achieving growth
- Have effective implementation and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the achievement of sales plans and strategies.
- Scan the environment to understand competitors’ activities, demand-supply scenario, regulatory issues to formulate strategies for increasing market share.
- Ensure an increased market share and profitability by facilitating market development, brand management, and business development.
- Continuously monitor the pricing patterns within the market, checking the prices for the desired products regularly with respect to their competitiveness and value as perceived by the customers, deciding upon pricing from time to time on a need basis to ensure the products are sold with the highest recoveries possible
- Initiate market intelligence system to provide monthly information to Top Management on potential data, competitors activities, new product opportunities, and other changes in the market.
- Managing the complete sales cycle from business development and customer acquisition to receipt of payments.
Key Accountabilities:-
- Meeting sales targets & objectives.
- Market share growth Strengthening & expanding the company’s network.
- Identification & development of new opportunities.
- Implementation of initiatives and Sales & Marketing strategies.
- Relationship building & Customer Satisfaction with key clients
- Development of a market intelligence/ information system.
- Training, development & monitoring of marketing personnel.
Requirments
- Graduate of marketing, business development, economics, or any related field
- 5years plus marketing experience preferably in the luxury furniture industry
- MBA is an added advantage
- Knowledge of current market trends and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent multitasking and project management skills
