Job Title: Hub Manager

Job Description

Your key responsibilities would include:
- Manage all operational activities for a package distribution centre
- Manage a large and diverse team of logistics and supply chain professionals supporting network infrastructure.
- Provide leadership to ensure efficient distribution and adherence to policies, procedures, and process excellence.
- Oversee all warehouse and transportation hub operations from inbound, inventory, pickups and outbound (deliveries/drop-offs).
- Maintains hub staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Establish key performance indicators tracking methodology and develop corresponding management reports.
- Partner with Third Party Logistics Providers to ensure alignment with expectations and achievement of our objectives.
- Optimize distribution channels for maximum efficiency and cost.
Desired Qualifications
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain. Master’s Degree in Business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or any other related discipline will be an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience in a logistics related role. Experience in a high volume distribution centre would be an added advantage.
- Project Management and supplier management experience.
- Experience in large scale operations and distribution management.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
- Experience in working with a third party Logistics Provider.
- Experience in materials management, i.e., transportation, purchasing, inventory management
- Experience in managing a third party Logistics Provider.
