We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource / Administrative Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting and interviewing prospective applicants based on experience, skills, and education; and developing plans for future personnel hiring procedures and goals.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Providing guidance on policies and procedures;
  • Participating actively in recruitment by drafting job descriptions, issuing job advertisements, and supervising the hiring procedure;
  • Organizing and managing orientation, onboarding, and training programs for new employees;
  • Contributing to performance management procedures;
  • Supporting disciplinary and grievance management;
  • Keeping personnel records (attendance, data, paperwork, etc.) in compliance with company policy;
  • Examining employment and working circumstances for compliance purposes;
  • Modifying job criteria as required;
  • Contacting and confirming references of applicants;
  • Responding to employee inquiries and communicating employee concerns to the organization
  • Reviewing employee safety, welfare, health, and wellness protocols and supervising employee health and safety procedures
  • Representing the company at community and recruitment functions; and
  • Performing administrative responsibilities as assigned on a periodic basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a comparable business subject.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in all facets of human resource management.
  • Possessing a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or another business-related discipline is a plus.
  • A professional certificate from the Institute of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) or a comparable HR credential is necessary, as well as practical knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law.

  • Excellent Information Communication Technology (“ICT”) skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (must be at least 80% proficient); and
  • Must possess a great professional attitude.
