Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • Responsible for overseeing all matters relating to people management within the organization including but not limited to, hiring and retaining staff, contracts and onboarding for new employees, performance management, employee relations, and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice, guidance and support to management and employees on employee related matters.
  • Coordinate and monitor the performance management process. Support management in identifying development needs and facilitate development activities (on individual, team and organizational level).
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed and administered accurately and in time, and according to State and Federal legislation, labour laws and payroll practices.
  • Coordinate HR processes including but not limited to onboarding, confirmation, discipline, transfer and leavers.
  • Ensure accurate and up to date personnel administration that complies with local legislation. Administer and coordinate compensation benefits (health insurance, compensation, leaves of absences, and paid time off).
  • Coordinate staff recruitment and promote industrial relations harmony through proactive engagement of workforce representatives.
  • Facilitate the definition of the corporate culture and underlying values for the business
  • Develop and implement programmes and change interventions to enable the implementation of defined corporate values and organisational culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Sciences, Humanities or any other related field.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a Human Resource functions.
  • Possession of CHR, SHRM, CIPD is an added advantage
  • Ability to design and implement strategies and policies
  • Strong Interpersonal Skill and people management skill.
  • Knowledge in Recruitment and selection, Benefits Administration, Performance Management and appraisal, Compensation and Wage Structure
  • Proficient in a HR software.
