Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor

Location: Oyo

Job Desecription

  • Ensure staff compliance to the company policies, systems and procedures.
  • Report and investigate infractions or presumed infractions committed by staff by providing recommendations & Sanctions.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to staff in accordance with the employee handbook.
  • Support the HR Manager in HR activities such as recruitment, employee survey, performance management, capability development.
  • Assist in the on-boarding of new employees at the Regional level.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Manager to develop solutions to complex HR issues at the Regional level.
  • Consult with the HR Manager in resolving employee relations issues.
  • Conduct quarterly induction programmes for all new staff members
  • Work closely with the HR Manager to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • End to end payroll administration.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Support the central recruitment team and HR Manager in recruitment activities that affect the Region.
  • Assist in the on-boarding of new employees sent to the Region.
  • Provide support in the implementation of the performance management system at the Regional level.
  • Identify training needs for business units and participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs.
  • Provide support in the deployment of capability development programs for the staff in the Region.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR Manager to develop solutions to complex HR issues at the state level.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues in conjunction with the HR Manager.
  • Work closely with the HR Manager and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure compliance at the Regional level.
  • Responsible for the company’s compliance with Federal and State legislation pertaining to all employee matters.
  • Administer compensation and benefits policies; ensure statutory compliance
  • Facilitate team development; manage performance.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Employee Service Supervisor

Key Requirements
Education/ Professional Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Relevant postgraduate and or professional qualification would be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Must possess 3-5 years’ work experience in Human Resources/Administration
  • Must reside in IBADAN
