We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Installation Technician

Locations: Abuja (FCT), and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Conduct tests and assessments of new electrical systems and repairs to ensure quality and ascertain the functional state;
Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other extra-low and low voltage electrical equipment;
Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems;
Communicate estimated timelines for repairs and installations to engineer;
Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed;
Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule;
Log all material usage and task;
Utilize and store all equipment properly.

Requirements and Qualifications

Vocational education or Diploma in Electrical as accredited by NBTE or successfully completed apprenticeship as an Electrician or equivalent;
Valid Electrician license in good standing;
2+ years of experience working as an Electrician;
Candidates must know how to troubleshoot electrical control and protective devices (electrical distribution and Breakers, Isolators) and make adjustments or repairs if they are not working properly;
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary electrical extra-low and low voltage equipment;
Ability to troubleshoot electrical service installation;
Good knowledge of electrical control and protective devices;
Ability to follow instructions;
Ability to read electrical drawings is an added advantage.
Proficient with hand and power tools;
Familiar with code requirements and company safety regulations.
