Ex-Super Eagles forward, Isaac Promise Isaac, has died.
Promise was part of the team that won Silver at the 2005 U-20 World Cup under Samson Siasia and also captained the football team to win silver at Beijing 2008 Olympics.
He died late Wednesday after collapsing at his apartment gym in Austin, Texas, authorities said. At the time of his death, Isaac Promise was aged 31.
He scored 79 goals in 11 professional seasons in Turkey,
The Nigerian football body (NFF) and Isaac’s club, Austin Bold FC, confirmed his death via Twitter on Thursday.
