Job Title: IT / Sales Support Staff

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Recognize the needs of the consumer and provide detailed information to the consumer about the technical specifications of the system/computer/tablet hardware/software offered by the company.
  • Investigates new items and makes recommendations for purchasing products.
  • Advises customers on technical matters and recommends appropriate system/computers/tablets configurations.
  • Solicits information about system/computers/tablets needs from customers.
  • Negotiate price for the sale.
  • Provide technical support after merchandise is purchased.
  • Construct sales pitches and presentations.
  • Stay abreast of market trends.
  • Serve as a customer service rep for customers who have questions or difficulties.
  • Demonstrate product features before a sale.
  • Negotiate a commercial agreement.
  • Help customers maximize the use of software features.
  • Advise on appropriate user training.
  • Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers’ systems and processes.
  • Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals.
  • Attracting new business through activities such as cold-calling, networking and meeting with potential clients
  • Organizing sales visits
  • Clarifying customers’ and clients’ requirements and recommending the appropriate products
  • Undertaking relevant research
  • Maintaining sales records
  • Checks inventory to ensure orders are in stock.
  • Giving demonstrations
  • Making and giving presentations
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  • Preparing tenders and proposals
  • Reviewing sales performance
  • Writing reports and sales literature.
  • Develop a brand style guide to ensure consistency in marketing efforts
  • Create a multi-channel marketing content strategy
  • Manage external partners for marketing collateral creation
  • Track KPIS of marketing campaigns
  • Write marketing messages for online and offline campaign
  • Travel to areas where needs are projected.
  • Develop effective sales plans using sales methodology
  • Meet sales targets set by managers and contribute to team targets
  • Manage workload in order to organise and prioritize daily and weekly goals
