Creative Media Centre for Development (CMCD) is a media development non-governmental organization in Nigeria registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). It combines Media content development, Media Trainings and Community Outreaches to address specific community concerns and issues, which will in turn, leads to debates, discussions and an open society that brings about political, economic and social development. We are based in FCT but work in various communities.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: IT Volunteer/Web Designer
Location: Abuja
Duration: 3 months
Job Description
- The IT Volunteer/Web Developer is to work alongside our project team. The IT Volunteer/Assistant will be assisting our IT department with the installation, configuration and maintenance of our computer networks
- The person will also ensure a functioning and management of an updated websites for the organization. If you are suitable for this role, then this is for you
Requirements
Skills MUST include:
- Good knowledge of Fireworks, Flash and Dreamweaver
- Excellent and high level experience of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Adobe CS
- Experience of developing online solutions across multiple browsers and devices
- Experience of designing bespoke CMS (content management systems)
- Flexible approach, self motivated, accurate and organized.
- Graphic Design skills are an added advantage.
