Juan Soto homers as Nationals hold off Cubs, 4-3
Washington Nationals starter Max Scherzer lasted just five innings while allowing two runs, but Juan Soto homered and that Nats did just enough to hold off the Chicago Cubs, 4-3. Javier Baez hit a solo homer in the 9th in the losing effort.
