Responsibilities
- Implementation of the growth strategy derived out of Nigeria expansion plan, responsibility for segment Off-Highway business & sales development in Nigeria
- Responsible for IAM fleets / OHW specialist dealers including driving of customer acquisitions, handling of different sales channels and own customer portfolio (Specialist Dealer/Fleet/Wholesaler specialist Branch)
- Responsible for sales, profitability of OHW in Nigeria and price negotiations
- Close coordination with local sales team, marketing department and HQ counterparts
- Establishing growth/expansion plans for Nigeria.
- Close alignment with country Sales Manager, Regional Director and Lead function in South Africa
- Responsible for all Off-Highway turnover in Nigeria (Large Engine) Diesel and Industrial Spark Plugs, Rotating machines, Batteries and other products used in Off-Highway for assigned customers
- Report to OHW team leader, disciplinary to Country Sales Manager
- Monthly interactions with OHW South Africa, logistic, sales, marketing, HQ.
Competencies and Qualifications
- Engineering degree or its equivalent, masters degree will be an added advantage
- Ability to consolidate data from multiple sources
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar position in a multinational Company
- Communicate effectively with high attention to detail
- Independent working style; communicator (sales personality); Open minded and result driven
- Highly organized and able to multitasks
- Proactive, “can do attitude”
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Team player, networker with clear result orientation
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Strong analytical skills.
- Language: Fluent English (speaking & writing); French and/or German is a plus
- High efficiency on time management, ability to build sustainable relationships.
