Job Title: Livestock Manager
Location: Oyo
Job Description
- Directs and coordinates livestock farm activities, such as breeding, feeding, rearing and maintenance.
- Inspect and test livestock and animal products for major animal diseases.
- Provide vaccines to treat farm live stock- Goats, or secures veterinarian services.
- Enhance livestock welfare, conduct research to improve animal health, and enforce government food safety regulations.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess a minimum of B.Sc or B. Agric. (Animal Science, Animal Production and Animal Husbandry) from a recognized University.
- NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
- A minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification cognate experience.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies.
- Possession of M.Sc. Agric. (Livestock) will be an added advantage.
- Good and effective communication skills with Computer literacy.
