We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Logistics Assistant

Location: Abijo, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Logistics Assistant will work with the team to monitor inventory and oversee the movement of inbound and outbound goods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily, monthly, quarterly and annual inventory count and update appropriate records
• Supervise the loading of delivery trucks with outbound goods
• Supervise the off loading of inbound goods for proper storage
• Schedule drivers for timely delivery of customers’ orders
• Take steps to avoid quality control issues
• Issue way bills to cover shipment of goods
• Plan and coordinate the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Keep logs and records of deliverables, executed orders etc;
• Reconcile inbound supplies with purchase order and supplier’s way bill to ensure accuracy in quantity and specification
• Return discrepant orders to vendors.
• Attend to customer queries.
• Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field preferred.
• Our preferred candidates are females who reside in the Abijo, Lekki -Epe axis.

Experience Requirement:

• 2+ years of experience in logistics management required.
