Lynx trade Alexis Jones for former Sparks guard Odyssey Sims

A five-year WNBA veteran, Sims spent the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks, losing to the Lynx in the 2017 WNBA Finals.

Former Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen, whose number will be retired this season, fouled Sims hard during Game 4 of that series, knocking her to the ground.
Sims, 27, averaged 8.2 points, 2.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 34 games (24 starts) last season.
The second overall pick in 2014, Sims has averaged 12.8 points, 3.6 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 156 career games (118 starts) split between Tulsa, Dallas and Los Angeles.
The 12th pick in 2017, Jones appeared in 55 games for the Lynx, averaging 2.9 points per game and shooting 34.2% from 3-point range.
