Hamilton Lloyd & Associates – Our client, a major player in the international fashion sector and that holds three major international fashion franchises in Nigeria, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description

  • The Store Manager (preferably female) has to be result driven and be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively.
  • As he/she expands store traffic, he/she will be expected to handle administrative duties including report writing, and drive innovation through ideas and concepts.

  • Dedicated to providing great customer service in the store.
  • Developing the sales team through motivation and product knowledge education.
  • Understand our customers and how they relate to our product.
  • Training of staff.
  • Tracking sales targets and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team
  • Handling any crisis in the store.
  • Arrangement of the showroom in terms of merchandising.
  • Handling weekly and monthly meetings with the sales team to see to the growth of the store and the company.
  • Evaluate all full account/sale targets on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Ensure accuracy and effectiveness of all customers’ transactions.
  • Monitor all customers’ complaints and provide effective solutions.
  • Assist staff in providing optimal service to all customers and administer all work schedules for staff.
  • Manage appropriate cleanliness of the store.
  • Maintain inventory of all stock files and excel files.
  • Report critical issues to management such as customers feedback on a product, staff performance etc.
  • Provide information on bestselling items and suggestions on how to improve sales of low selling items.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an HND.
  • Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees will be given preference
  • 3+ years of experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a supervisory role
  • Excellent interpersonal communication capabilities
  • Customer service-oriented attitude
  • Confidence to lead and direct a team
  • Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively
  • Strengths in leadership, management, team building, and problem-solving
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and oftentimes high-pressure environment
  • Numerical and analytical knowledge to properly manage cash and financial records
  • Understanding of basic business management functions
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Proven competencies ineffective communication and management
  • Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges.
