9mobile is a Nigerian private limited liability company. EMTS acquired a Unified Access Service License from the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2007. The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National / Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Summary
- Manage Network Performance and quality assurance
- Responsible for developing network quality analysis and reporting strategy of all nodes in the areas of Core, VAS, Roaming, international PO
Principal Functions
- Manage Network Performance and Quality Analysis to achieve formulated performance strategy and KPIs
- Manage Voice, Data and VAS services performance and quality analysis
- Develop and deliver technical reports on Network Quality Performance
- Responsible for defining and ensuring implementation of relevant strategies, processes, and procedures for quick identification and demarcation of poor service experience
- Analyze Network Quality Reports into executive summary for SMT
- Identify Opportunities to Enhance Network Quality Efficiency
- Responsible for network quality issues and follow – up with all relevant teams for quick resolution of identified Network Quality issues
- Responsible for managing relationship with vendors to deliver good quality for EMTS network
- Liaise with optimization and operation units on implementation of network protocols and parameter for optimum network quality
- Carryout impact analysis of network parameters changes and feature trials to ensure high network quality results
- Support network performance team in achieving regulatory thresholds
- Initiate quick wins to manage sudden network quality bottlenecks because of commercial promotions
- Plan and manage the team’s activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates’ performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives
- Engage vendor on the roadmap of the network elements and what new metrics would be available to ensure high network quality of service is achieved
- Creating trackers that will keep record of detected network quality issues and their resolution action
- Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and manage all network performance reporting
- Perform other duties as instructed by the Head, Network Performance and Service Assurance
Educational Requirements
- First degree / HND in Engineering or Computer Science
- Six (6) to Eight (8) years relevant work experience with at least three (3) years in a supervisory position
