We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Main Objective of the Job

  • To design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities.

Responsibilities / Deliverables / Outcome

  • To oversee and be accountable for all activities and performance of the marketing department – Public Relations, Content, SEO, SEM, Performance Marketing, CRM, Brand Marketing, and Marketing Operations departments.
  • To initiate and implement measurable strategies that aid in driving the business’s revenue goals and increase awareness at all levels of the business’s reach
  • Create, implement and measure the success of a comprehensive omni channel marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the organization’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public
  • To partner closely with the Customer Experience Management & Commercial planning teams for the creation of plans and strategies that will have a vast consumer outreach reflecting the targeting, segmentation, and value proposition development of the business.
  • Liaise with sales teams to provide marketing tools that help drive sell -in as well as sell through.
  • To ensure the establishment of first-class online presence that will drive aggressive awareness for the business and significantly assist in the acquisition and retention of the business’s consumers.
  • Conduct thorough analysis on marketing ROI and successfully develop cost effective solutions
  • Develop and implement the organization’s multi-channel, multi-segment marketing based on industry-leading insight
  • Spearhead the creation and maintenance of the organization’s digital footprint, while effectively utilizing SEO, SEM
  • Ensure the delivery of market research, business intelligence, consumer insights, and reporting required to guide executive-level decision-making
  • Identify, prioritize, and properly resource key initiatives aimed at increasing customer loyalty, satisfaction, and business revenue
  • Create and implement innovative multi-channel acquisition strategies & campaigns via strong collaboration with product, sales, and technical teams
  • Analyze and interpret internal sales data to inform business decisions and make recommendations to executive leadership and partners
  • Provide ongoing tracking, measurement, KPI, and ROI analysis for the team’s marketing initiatives and campaigns to provide clear, actionable insights that inform and inspire communication for strategic calendar and brand initiatives
  • Lead the development of integrated marketing plans by brand, including strategies and tactics that increase brand awareness, relevancy, and generate demand. This also includes calendarization to connect key messages across all touchpoints with synchronized timing.
  • Lead a customer first mindset, developing a data informed position on who current and target customers are, and implementing strategies and tactics that help us acquire and retain valuable customers.

Skills & Experience

  • First Degree in Marketing business or any related field from a reputable higher institution
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Membership of a recognized professional body is an added advantage
  • Experience in Retail will be an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of organization’s profit & loss /business acumen
  • Proven experience developing and implementing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Strong experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership & managerial skills
