We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Master

Location: Nigeria

Roles and Responsibilities

The Master has the overall responsibility for reporting in accordance with laws and regulations.
To implement and maintain the company Q&HSE system onboard.
To secure that all personnel on board are familiar with their duties in accordance with requirements of the Q&HSE system, by providing mandatory and required training, and familiarization with the system and the vessel’s equipment.
To encourage and motivate his crew to carry out their duties in accordance with instructions laid’ down in the Q&HSE manuals.
The Master shall take care of Owners and Charterers interests, and will often act as their representative.
The Master shall motivate the crew to operate the vessel in accordance with the Company’s QHSE
Management System in the best possible manner. He shall ensure that all orders and instructions are issued in a plain and unambiguous way.
The Master may delegate responsibility for maintenance and operation of the vessel to his department leaders and other crew members.
The Master shall secure that all subordinates are provided possibilities to develop and improve their abilities within their individual positions.
