Matt Boldy signs entry-level deal with Wild
The Minnesota Wild have signed 2019 first round pick Matt Boldy to a three-year, entry-level contract starting this season. The forward will begin his professional hockey career with the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League.

Boldy had 31 points in 22 games with Boston College this season. The sophomore led the Eagles in scoring, goals, assists, power-play points, power-play assists and shots on goal. He was named a Hobey Baker Award Top Ten Finalist for his efforts.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound native of Milford, Mass., had seven points (5-2=7) in seven games to help the United States win the gold medal at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship.
Boldy was selected by Minnesota in the first round (12th overall) of the 2019 draft.
